NewsBuild.ai was recently featured by Manager.bg in an article highlighting how artificial intelligence can support journalistic potential.
In a world dominated by informational noise and the ultra-fast pace of events, editorial teams are faced with the challenge of adapting to the needs of their audience without compromising in-depth journalism.
The answer of the digital media and technology company Net Info, part of Nova Broadcasting Group, is called NewsBuild.ai and is already available to clients and partners. With its help, the media group is not simply implementing a new technology, but outlining a model through which artificial intelligence and quality journalism interact for greater efficiency.

How does AI turn routine into a resource?
The main task of the new product is to automate routine processes, expand content, enrich presentation, and free up editors’ time for real journalistic work. Through precise control over the RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) process, artificial intelligence draws information solely from the media outlet’s archives and officially verified sources. AI prepares the factual elements that enrich and build upon the information, and provides the necessary context. It also proposes and prepares explanations on the topic and the required background, while the journalist works on the final material.
Global partnership with a local footprint
NewsBuild.ai is the result of a large-scale international collaboration, combining the global technological expertise of Google and the strategic expertise of the consulting division of the Financial Times – FT Strategies. The project was implemented within the prestigious AI Launch Hub program, aimed at supporting digital transformation in the global news industry.
“The most interesting part for us is finding business applications for AI innovations. AI transformation in general, outside of Silicon Valley unicorns, is about finding and integrating business applications. This requires, above all, common sense and a competent team, which we have,”
emphasizes Alexander Varov, CEO of Net Info.
The project is also unique because of its scale – editorial teams within United Group from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Greece are involved in its development. This multinational approach allows the company to turn the linguistic specifics of the region into a strategic advantage, creating a product that is applicable across different markets.
A digital future through the eyes of the global elite
In February, Net Info CEO Alexander Varov and Net Info Chief Content Officer Nadya Gancheva presented the new product in London during the event News In the Digital Age, organized by the Financial Times – FT Strategies and the Google News Initiative. The forum focused on the adaptation and development of journalism in the era of AI. The large-scale meeting brought together 290 leaders from the global news industry, and among the speakers were representatives of Al Jazeera, Reuters, and Financial Times.
